Super Bowl Cobb Salad Dip
february 3, 2013
Yes, the Super Bowl is today and our home team is playing! So of course we have to bring something to the party. This one is really quick, really unhealthy and really delicious. Best of all, the recipe is short enough to fit into a tweet, which I received from @CHOW last week.
Here it is:
Cobb Salad Dip: Mix 1c sour cream/⅓c blue cheese/2t lmn juice/½t salt/1t Worcest/1 chopavocado/¼c chopscallion/2T chopparsley. Top w/ bacon.
I do need to add a disclaimer, though. I am not one to purchase precut baby carrots or peppers out of season, but my husband made the dip, so I take no responsibility for those decisions (though serving something this fatty with veggies instead of chips is surely a good choice). And, lucky for me, we're going to have extra peppers which means I have a good excuse to make paella next week, even though it isn't summer. Whoohoo! Go Team!
Oh, and if you're wondering why there are pink flowers instead of dirt on my blog's banner, I have to say that I'm wondering the same thing. But what I can tell you is that I'm in the final stages of a big remodel for Eating Dirt, so be on the lookout for that. It's coming real soon now...
