Plum-thyme Sundaes

When the end of summer comes and overripe plums pile up on the counter, this is one of two great recipes I like to make. The plum sauce keeps for a few days in the fridge and is also good spooned on top of plain yogurt.
I served this for dinner with two other dishes from The Forest Feast: French Radishes with butter on p. 38 and Carrot & Zucchini Ribbon Pasta on p. 137. All three are fast, healthy, delicious and kid friendly.
